Access to the Hamilton County Historian's collection will be limited from January 2022 through January 2023 while we undertake a major archiving project. During this first phase of the project, we will assess, reorganize, rehouse and index the entirety of the collection in order to protect its materials, catalog its contents, improve its governance and increase public access. We hope that a second phase (TBA) will see the entire collection digitized and made searchable through an online portal. If you urgently require materials for an upcoming deadline, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but locating items may take longer during this project. Please bear with us through this necessary housekeeping!
